Peter Lindop

Volunteer Chaplaincy Assistant Representative

Peter and his family emigrated from England many years ago and settled in Rotorua, a beautiful city in New Zealand.

For over 20 years, he has worked as a Volunteer Chaplain Assistant (VCA) and later became a locum at Rotorua Hospital. At the beginning of his ministry journey, he was trained by Ray Bloomfield, completing several Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) programmes together.

Peter is a proud member of Grace Communion International and was ordained 1979.

In my spare time, he enjoys travelling around the country in his motorhome, exploring new places. Peter is looking forward the opportunities in his role on the NZHCA executive to visit members during his travels.

He understands that talking with members helps him learn about their needs and issues. This way, he can share their concerns with the board at the New Zealand Healthcare Chaplain's Association.
