Full Member (Credentialed)
Full members are those Chaplains and Chaplaincy Assistants whose applications have been approved by the Executive and who have paid their subscription comply with all the codes of the Association. Full Members will be recorded in the Register of Chaplains. Full members who have been Credentialed by the Association will be referred to as Full Members (Credentialed) and will be entitled to use the designation MNZHCA (Member New Zealand Healthcare Association) after their name.
Membership fee - $100.00 per annum
Credentialing fee (one-off charge) - $225 NZD ($153 AUD credentialing fee + $50 AUD processing fee)
Full Member

Associate Members
Associate members are those persons whose application has been approved by the Executive, and who come under one of the following categories:
(i) Past Full Members who wish to retain their connection with the Association and support its work, but who are no longer eligible for Full membership.
(ii) Those who, whether living within or outside Aotearoa New Zealand, wish to be associated with the work of the Association, and informed of its activities.
(iii) Chaplaincy Assistants who choose not to be Full members.
Associate Members shall pay subscriptions and abide by the codes of the Association. Associate members do not have the right to vote or hold office.
Membership fee $ 40.00 per annum
Honorary Members
Honorary members are those persons whom the Association wishes to recognise, and who have been elected to Honorary membership at a General Meeting of the Association. Honorary members shall not have the right to vote or hold office in that capacity, and are not required to pay any subscription. To qualify as an Honorary member of the Association, a person need not be in a Chaplaincy appointment, but needs to have served at least 10 years as a Chaplain and to have contributed to the Association by serving on the Executive or the Credentialling Committee or to have stimulated professional development for their Chaplain/Chaplaincy Assistant peers by writing educational materials or organising events at a regional or national level.
