NZ HEALTHCARE CHAPLAINS’ ASSOCIATION
2010 BIENNIAL CONFERENCE - 16th – 20th AUGUST 2010
Theme of Conference – Care of The Soul
Update on Conference Planning
It is extremely pleasing to see that we now have just over 100 registrations for conference and we know that delegates will leave conference refreshed both physically and spiritually.
Funding
A number of funding applications have been completed but unfortunately we have not been successful. An approach has been made for some sponsorship which is still being negotiated and we hope to have an update on that shortly.
A further funding application has been made to NZ Community Trust for assistance with the cost of speaker fees, equipment and venue hire. We should know the outcome of this by July.
In the meantime invoices will be prepared and sent out showing balances on the assumption that no funding will be received.
We believe this is a conference you will not want to miss.
Keynote Speakers
Jennie and Gordon are looking at having two parts to their daily presentations. In the first part they will present their information and then we will break into smaller groups to discuss issues arising from their presentations.
Workshops
Four workshops will be offered each day. This means you will have an opportunity to attend all of the workshops.

· Care of the Indigenous Soul
· Care of the Team Soul
· Care of the Psychiatric Patient Soul
Collegial Meetings:
Meeting times have been set aside for:
